south central ky. | Thanks to everyone who commented, it helped. I still have some beef cows. We don't raise tobacco anymore, they have cut our # to all most nothing. I am also an Electrical contractor and my work has picked up some. I am 69 yrs. old, had 2 knee replacements last yr. I want to turn the farm over to my youngest son, but I'm afraid he couldn't make it, without some outside income. He has aways wanted to farm. I wish he could get a good job off the farm, so he could farm part time. My oldest son is a financil planner at a big bank in Lexington. He don't want to farm, but he deserves something. I havn't figured that out yet.
I didn't know if this was the right place to put these statement, but there you go.
