Boone & Crockett - 3/15/2016 06:17 Fry, big difference back then was a pretty decent loan rate, IIRC, was $2.56 for corn. That was a good floor for those days. I remember putting corn under loan, collecting .265 cents a year for three years storage, and hauling it out for $3.25.
CCC loan rate was actually $2.90 in the early 80s. Try that one on for size now....
