NC Indiana | Is she selling show heifers or breeding to sell show herself? Who's doing the work with the cow herd? You'd probably be better off and money ahead getting them bred in a spring and fall group and buying a couple heifers in the other age group windows if you're showing or breeding for the biggest demand windows if you're selling them for club calves- MO. I run into this with my daughter. We've had more misses on the clubby hairy junk she trips head over heels for vs the cheaper only somewhat showy papered stock she bought starting out that gets bred on time and raises a good calf. They better be having a live calf every 12 months or they can hit the road, and they sure better have the calf themselves, again MO. | |
