Dumb question, but can you finish them and sell at auction? Or maybe retain ownership in a feedlot. Probably learn a lot.

Look good to me, but buyers must know (think) something.


In my experience if the buyers don't know the breed they don't much care what they get told its called discount the crap out of the animals.

There are breeds out there that do well but because they are not known they get discounted.

Just to show that there is some need for it - - - the longhorn cross (which makes for great calving ease) gives a steer that takes forever to finish therefore the severe discount on the calves (they usually aren't any too hot on gaining either!)
