I am having a heck of a time getting to bale feeders etc because of all the mud, and I wonder how much new tires would help? Local tire store has 2 choices in the size I need, one for 157 and the other for 200. The 200 is considerably heavier, so that's the one I would go with if I did it, but I wonder if the lugs will just fill up with sticky mud and be right back in the spot I'm in now?
If you have this problem a lot of the year you might want to consider a rubber track that goes on the tires. Not cheap but would make a lot of difference.
Tracks aren't great in lots of snow, too easy to flip them off, but I'm told they work not too bad in mud, unless you really get bogged down - - - then nothing works!! |
