Idaho | Heifers are right at a year old and weigh about 750 lbs. They will be AI'd in about 45 days. I should have added that the bull I AI to has a CED of +16 (top 1%) and my cleanup bull is +14 CED (top 5%) of the black angus breed. I wi have to look at last years but i think it was right at $3/Head to have this done. I also have it done to see if the heifers are palipating and the vet will also catch any free martins or ones that have something funny going on in the pelvic region. I try to put a really good bred package together because I try to sell these for a premium over regular bred heifers.
