Beresford, SD
Getting good at observing and diagnosing....and ready to mass treat contradict each other. Once you get the eye of seeing a calf a tick off you won't need to mass treat.......unless you feed stienes. You will save a few bucks vaccinating at home, a good chute and eye will make you successful. Sale barns for buying......doing your own vet work will come with experience. Learned most of my vet skills working at a 6000 head yard 2 summers in collage. The owner, a Mexican, and me. The owner was a DVM from Iowa state, learned more about practice from him than I ever did at SDSU from real life experiences. Good luck roo......your on the right track.
