I have never done AI, but $100 per head would be ridiculous if you were just selling your calves at a salebarn. Maybe would make more sense if you sell bulls, but then again, I have tried to sell bulls and it wasn't worth it. Then you also have to run a cleanup bull, so are you really saving any?
