North Central Illinois | You might be surprised. Everyone is talking about how much better corn pays than beans. Personally, despite the numbers I am staying closer to 50/50 than I have in a long time. However, I have talked to a lot of guys who are leaning toward more corn this year. If we happen to have a fairly dry spring across the corn states we might be shocked at the lack of PP and what it does to corn acres. I'm not saying higher corn acres are a slam dunk but it would not be a huge shock. I hope I am wrong! | |
