Paradise KS | So i don't get it. There has been a post on pretty much every crop, oh its not going to pencil this year. For me wheat is the cheapest to put in, cheapest to maintain and if we get some good rain could yield just good enough to make a profit, or at least pay all the bills to get to next year. If it doesn't rain and wheat doesn't yield then it's not a huge loss. I don't grow corn, but soybeans here are all or nothing, milo usually is fairly consistent, but were getting almost as much into it as the corn guys in this area.
Nothing looks good on paper, it is what it is. If i can get the bills payed this year and move to next year it will be considered a successful year. | |
