Central South Dakota | You would still apply a small amount of K because of the low chloride levels. Especially for wheat. Our soils have always been pretty high in potassium overall, but chloride is always on the lower side.
Badfarmer: We soil test every year and create a green/yellow/red zone for each field and soil samples are pulled with a GPS unit to try to have consistency in samples from year to year. I would have to do some digging through paperwork but I have the yearly samples going back to 1992 I believe. | |
