East Central Ia
Either will work.

I have been using generic dual (plain metalochlor not "S") for years on corn. Every once in a while i have a little left over and use it down ahead of beans. Works great.

This year my chem supplier is telling guys to consider adding Prefix with the second pass for some residual to get through. Prefix has S-Metalochlor and Firstrate i think?

Its safe to use but like the other guy said it will do nothing on emerged weeds so you need something else to clean it up and the Dual will hold it from there.

Dual is strong on waterhemp which is a good thing here!
