I sharpened mine with a 4" grinder and one of those sandpaper flap disk wheels in the vise. It worked great an didn't remove a lot of metal, it actually looked "factory" after sharpening and a fresh coat of black spray paint. You can get em as sharp as your pocket knife if you like. Good luck
Did you notice it made a large difference? I actually switched my planter back to fixed row cleaners very early last season and was about ready to give upon these until I saw the sharpening ad. I don't want to plow with em or anything but in tougher stringy no-till bean stubble it didn't hardly look like it was doing anything. |
