They are both important and go hand in hand. If you have $0 or negative working capital, cash flow is already a problem. Those with a strong working capital position coming into a year that looks to be breakeven at best right now can take some hits. Working capital is your first line of defense to withstand financial shocks or take advantage of opportunities.
