| We have an '03 MX 255 with approx 3,300 hrs. We bought it used with around 2,100 hours. I was worried about the CAPS system but the service manager at our CIH dealership said not to worry about it. Don't know if that meant it's already been upgraded or what but so far no issues along that line. We pull a 34' 330 TT in 11th gear @ 1800 rpm, a 7xc16" on land 720 plow 11-12" deep & this fall had our Krause 4830 ripper on it for awhile, plus use it on a 12/23 1200 bean planter, have pulled a 15 knife AA bar & use it on our 1,000 bu grain cart in the fall. Normally we put around 400 - 450 hrs/ yr on it. Only issues we have had with the tractor is electrical. Despite cleaning all the grounds, and replacing the cab solenoid behind the cab, the tractor will occasionally lose power in the cab for a split second. Usually the only way I know it does it is the 2-way radio beeps like it's being turned on. | |
