Leesburg, Ohio | Might be possible to do section control with ground drive, but would be expensive and totally un-necessary. Hydraulic drive is simple, easy, lower maintenance, and works great.
We have had three ground drive units with coulters and injector nozzles over a 25 year period. The last two years, we switched to knives and coulters. Most everyone in this area has switched. Thin knives, adjusted close to coulter, have almost no plugging issues, and better yet, no splash. Our applicator and tractor stays clean. | |
