Anderson County Kansas | The last farm I bought was no sale at the auction. They came up to me after the auction and said they wouldn't take 1450 but would take 1600. It joined us so I went ahead and bought it, I may have got it for the 1450, but if they had listed it my guess is it would have brought 2k. The auction was a private sale held by the family, and it wasn't advertised nor was there that many people there. There was a couple of interested people there that I know would have given that for it, but they were neighbors who wouldn't bid against me. I am sure that the high bid isn't always all that the winning bidder will pay to own a property. | |
