You are thinking exactly like I am. There are probably not a whole lot of times where it's a really terrible idea to buy land, but I think any time in the last 3 years has been that way unless you were capable of paying for most of it outright. Even then, I think it will be something where a guy will have a hard time looking back on it and thinking about what he did, but it sure won't sink the type of people who could pay for it outright.
