I believe I understand how you came up with the red "Forecast" Line for the third chart. Where or how did you come up with the red Forecast line for the first and second chart? Did you take the chart #3's forecast and extrapolate those numbers back to charts # 1 and #2?

Thank you for giving me something to think about on a sleepless night. Very interesting.

Historical looking, what caused these three run-ups in land value? Please correct me, or confirm, in general terms, my ideas:

1920's-coming out of WW I

1970's- Russian grain deals

2005- ethanol

Now the million dollar question-what is going to cause the next run-up 35-50 years from now?

I just did some quick math, my grandparents were in their late 20's when the first bubble started, my father was 52 when things took off in 1973, and I was 53 in 2005. Talk about a "once every generation" historical occurance. Bruce.
