East Central South Dakota | great post, I absolutely agree with you. Only caution would be areas whose production variability is huge where 120 percent of APH would not cover yield but,----------you are totally right and have managed some of the yield risk with that 120% number. Nothing says we as producers can't play with that 120% number---maybe some it would be 125% or 110%, but I definitely like your thought process.
