Subject: What should PH be for best results

S.E. Iowa
2 farms 1 farm ph ranges from 6.20 to 7.40 most in the 6.80-7.10 2nd farm ph range 5.50 to 7.20 majority runs 5.80-6.20 What should I be shooting for. Farm 2 had the best crop this year it is also the poorest ground as to how it lays. CSR is probably around 55 for an average . The best corn on it was no tilled into 3 year old alfalfa with just 60lbs of NH3 165 bushel Farm 1 is ground with a CSR in the 90s only averaged about 155 bushel with 160lbs NH3 and 100 ea P and K The highest yielding area has a ph of around 6.20 but averaged 200,7 on 19 acres. Can the PH be too high. Best corn on each farm seemed to come from ground running around 6.2PH Anyone with any Ideas
