Thanks for the input. I hadn't thought of that, although I did wonder about the dryness of the feed I hadn't had a problem in the past with this moisture.

I my defense this was a bagger I had bought and was in the feeling out process. In the past had been renting a "Ag Bagger" but had been having problems getting it when it was needed. If I remember correctly I was getting a 10 1/4" stretch line but wasn't enough for that dry of silage. I was using a tourqe wrench to set the pressure, and was set at 35ft/lbs on the brake. Live and learn!
