| We are switching the grind to sorghum in ethanol as well as feed bunks.. We are expecting a larger sorghum crop this year.. like 130 myn bushels or such.. However, the WASDE has domestic demand dialed down to almost zippo.. At current basis relationships we can slap 150+ myn bushels onto domestic demand in a heartbeat..
This is still flying under the radar as corn demand for ethanol is also probably understated by about 100 to 150 myn bushels..
It's not a question of IF Sorghum basis is going to rally.. it's WHEN.. as this is unsustainable.. Most of the crop is going to the ground.. thus end users do not have much of their needs secured yet...
.. This is gonna get interesting before it's all over.. like the ROYALS baby.. NEVER count us out... ;-) |
