Illinois John said I never had a problem with hoses bolowing out of my 7140 ... I greased the zerk on the couplers until I found grease running out between the moving parts, and physically moved the coupler parts to be assured there was no dirt trapped anywhere. Grease Zerk? WHERE? I still haven't found anything as good as the IH couplers on a 66 series tractor ... after youput the after market lever on the back of them to pop the coupler out.
