SW KS, near Dodge City | Yep. At least on all of our stuff. Custom farmed ground was finished on the 2nd.
Lots of late nights but it was definitely worth it. The way things are setup here in Spearville, the cemetary is on the very southeast corner of the section that town sits on. Mom & Dad's place is a 1/2 mile east of there, and we farm everything on the south side of the road, directly south of the cemetary and going east. Both fields closest to the cemetary were going to wheat this year, and I've got a really good stand (thank God), so at least Dad has something good to look at now. I got it in and got a decent stand, so now it's up to him to deliver the weather for me:)
It does take a while, but things do get better. For a while there, I wasn't sure. | |
