Subject: RE: soybean aphids - spray advice

Fayette Co, Iowa
Same problem here in N/E Iowa. Didn't have the severe thresholds ten days ago when I checked. So I was told by area farmers and agronomist that im wasting money spraying this late in the game. Now its near Sept 1st. And I walked a field after doing cattle chores and was blown away how many aphids are still on the bottom of the leaves.... Damned if I do...Damned if I don't!!! These are beans that were planted May 6th, 145,000, and in 30 inch rows, no-tilled into corn stalks.
