Let's say you ran enough acres that required the need for two combines.

Given today's modern machines, how often would you trade combines and why?

Do you think 6 years between trades in a two combine operation is reasonable?

Now, would your thoughts on this change if there were more machines involved (3, 4, etc.)?

There obviously are a lot of factors to weigh into this, I'm just curious on any general thoughts you have with this. Because I see some guys swapping combines annually, or semi-annually, and I just don't quite grasp it how that is reasonable.
