Texas | I am getting tempted to buy my diesel and fertilizer (at least nitrogen) fairly soon. Petroleum markets are finally getting back to normal after 1 1/2 years of inflated pricing due mainly to the speculators in NY. Predictions of a warm winter are driving natural gas prices down to just over $4.00 mmbtu.
May have to wait a while for the distributers get over the price shock (rapid drop) but then it may be time to at least hedge a little.
What do you guys think? Prices going to head back up after the election or with a cold winter?
