 Too close to Raleigh, NC | For the money a corded driver will walk away from a cordless driver. Cordless is great if you are away from a power feed but then you also will not be able to recharge your batteries. For intermittent use a cordless is wonderful, for screwing alot of drywall or decking you will be ahead in the long run with a corded unit.
The Bosch 24V are quite capable of feeding 1" auger bits all day long. You will wear out from holding onto it before it wears out.
We use 7.2V and 9.6V Makitas due to size/weight/ergomnoics for taking panels off of machines and putting on faceplates - smaller, easier to handle, less weight, batterries are much cheaper, guns are more affordable - but do not ask them to break anything stuck loose. | |
