| I assume your talking about the impact drivers that use a 1/4" hex bit? If so I bought a 12v Makita last winter after helping a carpenter who had two of them. If I had it to do over again I might have opted for a 14.4v model but the 12v gets the job done and it's really light. Before I used an impact driver I never understood their purpose when a cordless drill works pretty good for driving screws but my cordless drill hasn't driven a screw since I got the impact driver and with the impact driver there's no need to worry about twisting a screw off or stripping it out. | |
