Here in South Dakota we have 3% sales tax on new and I am quite sure used equipment. Go to a farm sale and you still have to pay the tax. But I do wonder if people from a state that doesn't tax farm machinery, purchase some in SD, do they have to pay the tax? I guess if my beans were ready I wouldn't wonder so much!!!! Soon to be ready, though.
