lots of times the corn didn't get harvested-I own a 80 acre parcel that had 4 acres in a corner that had never been farmed for 3 years it still had the corn standing stalks -but lots of corn was critter corn
we picked a lot of corn at 2am-as midnite was to early-always cold when you had only a heat houser
