IMO conventional beans are only worth it for a premium. They can be a little tough to keep clean if your not on top of it. And I've seen RR beans cheaper then conventional beans in certain circumstances.

But I disagree with you on the corn.
Conventional corn can be very easy to keep clean in reality.

What is your current strategy for your RR corn chems?
How much is RR seed vs conventional?

In the grand scheme were are probably sitting hairs. I think through the local dealer last year conventional corn was around $165 and RR was around $200. So roughly $14.50 an acre cheaper for conventional seed.
Can u do an conventional chenical program for just a couple bucks more? If so save $10 an acre? That's real money... And it adds up every year..
