a couple of important points haven't been discussed along with owning a combine is transporting grain to town. if your custom guy is doing that then you have to figure either cost of hiring someone or the cost of buying your own wagons or trucks. that could cost as much as the combine.
i vote for the bin. There is $.27 carry at the local ethanol plant from harvest to june or $.15 from harvest to janurary right now.
