Subject: RE: Hard vrs Soft Wheat

Kankakee, IL
Here in NE IL most good wheat growers are attaining SRWW yields of 85-100 bu., myself included. THis spring I put in two 4 acre patches of HRSW to see what it would do. I have had many people ask where they could get wheat to buy for their home use so I thought I would give it a try. Hate the thought that maybe I'm good at something and I don't know it yet. It is an expensive education though with all the riches I'm giving up on some now diverted average corn ground, insert sarcasm here. Will find out the results in about a month with fresh bread in 5 weeks.
