Here, and especially SW of here, they had pastures blow out, and tree belts dropped like flies. Likewise, we have no idea what a real flood is. I see pictures on here of guys showing cuts that are 10'+ deep, and I can't fathom that.


Exactly.

I would far prefer dry, but we never have been terribly dry. We have lost far more crop to too much rain, and almost none to not enough rain. But flooding causes so many issues that dry does not. Lost nutrients, broken machinery, etc.. I think wet costs more...
