Western-Central Lower Michigan
If you have wet clay it can clog the rear end badly. Lots of bearings to maintain, (ours has all zerks, the new ones are all sealed). Wont MOVE dirt to fill and level but leaves a nice finished seed bed in loamy soil. Also if you do have dry clods of clay, it does a decent job of resizing/breaking clods down. It does a great job of resizing trash..
Our fields are seldom are often not level enough after harvest to run a VT machine due to wet conditions/spots lots of ruts to fill. So for us, its primarily a seed bed prep tool or to incorporate pre emerge chemicals.
