Get a nice blanket in her crate, keep it clean.
Crate should be in your bedroom at night. If she whines, ignore it (cover the crate with a blanket at bedtime/naptime).
Hide small pieces of chicken or treats in the blanket at random times during the day and let her find 'em
Keep a nylabone or other chew toy in the crate so she can have something to do.
It really amounts to getting her to figure out that good things happen in the crate and that it's her space (you don't reach in and pet her or drag her out).

If she whines when you go to let her out in the morning let her sit there five more minutes and try again. The absolute worst thing that can happen is her associating whining or barking with getting let out.
