Subject: RE: Hail damage in corn?

I had hail on a corn field 3 years ago. Sliced leaves but did not lose much tissue, 2% loss. 10 days before tassel.

This field died fully 10 days before another field planted the same day with the same hybrid, same previous crop. all things the same except hail.

The hailed on field was about a 10 bushel better field on average in the past than the field that did not recieve the hail.

The hailed on field yielded 25 bu/ac less than the non hailed field.

THis is what is possible.
