Macon, IL | I sprayed twice, and almost 2x the rate as in the past and still have a lot of escapes. Problem this year for me is that the beans were planted so late they are taking FOREVER to canopy in 30 inch rows-some may not at all. Plus the constant rain has provided lots of opportunities for new flushes to start.
These are going to be the weediest beans I have ever had. This is probably the last year I rely solely on Roundup-especially at the price level it is now. Too late to spray a 3rd time-but wish I had a couple weeks back.
