Slaughter cows sold up to 1.40/lb yesterday. Runty longhorn cross cows up to 1.20, all to Central Packers or Brown Packers. Just can't believe how mixed up this market is. I know they are preloading for 2 weeks off, but I'd think the be ahead yo buy finished steers vs pulling cows out of the woods if the price is near equal.
