Subject: RE: The question is ....?

Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow
Even though helium is a non-renewable (in any reasonable time period) and a strategic material the question is, " How much of the natural gas supply is actually being processed to recover the helium?" If a substantial portion ot the natural gas supply is being processed then it might make sense but if the supply of helium can be expanded maybe not.
There is no doubt that the use of helium for party balloons is one of the most stupid thoughtless unnecessary waste of a scarce resource possible. I find several of them each year on my farm. If you extrapolate the rate I find per acre over the 3.8 million sq. miles of this country it amounts to over ten million of them released to drift away and litter the landscape and otherwise make a nuisance.
