Can't speak for others, but I can guarantee you that I have never "bid up" or "sought out" land to farm, and I've never asked Uncle Sam for one red cent to bail me out.

  Every acre farmed here is either owned land or land that the owners asked us to farm. As far as that goes, I could care less if someone else took over some of our rented land, we already rent some of our own to neighbors so no we're not chasing high rents or greedy for more. Sounds like a few sour grapes on your behalf.

And I'm not crying about my situation, I'm good with it. Just because I consider a change in life doesn't indicate crying.
