East Central Ia | I agree that waiting another 2-3 weeks would have been better... And was my initial plan but early rains keep us out of the field when I wanted to put some 32% on my weed and feed program for corn on corn. So I had to drop the 32% when the corn emerged and opted to push my AMS window up. Right wrong or indifferent... Only time and more trials will tell.
We did have actual AMS. it was very uniform in size and shape and had a 62# density and we were spreading it 120'. I have never seen urea do this.
With the amount of N available I doubt the increase is from additional n. But with the growing year we had I really don't know.
And for the record why even post that first response? This post was actually helpful... The first one not so much.
