Hi Rick. I can imagine grinding and TMR mixing would let you mix and blend a wide variety of grades of hay and other materials such as grain and DDG's etc. 

However putting a couple loader buckets of corn silage in a silage wagon and setting out some hay bales every 3 or 4 days over the winter for the cows is about as mechanized as I can see feeding getting in my small operation.

Maybe this hay quality will still be good as Clicker suggests. Just for my future reference, I think I will get a hay sample tested from this rained on hay after its baled.
