I understand the advertisements for the applicators for wheel tracks now.
I would think there is considerable evaporation from spray nozzles mounted on top of the pipe. I guess they are more efficient than pulse sprinkler heads. The nozzles will sure clear a tall crop.
Driving through West Texas I see most use drops for the spray nozzles. I understand some even pull perforated hoses, but I can not visualize that in alfalfa.
