I agree that a large majority of it maybe coming from the head, a load we took off tonight went 12.5% Moisture, but I will stop the machine for sure tommorrow and get off and check behind the head. Oh by the way my settings are 350 rotor rpm, with keystock grates. Its a long shoe 80, and I have my fan around 950 and the shoe is nearly wide open, and im still not even close to getting docked on FM. I really dont want to go to the trouble of pulling wires with only 140 acres of corn to shell. OH if this helps I forgot to say is 3 to 5 kernals per square foot a lot of loss at the head in dry corn?
