Subject: '87 Ford Truck ignition

I have a gasoline '87 Ford SA truck I use for seed wheat. Truck runs good when I first start but drive about 4 miles with a load and it is running poorly. Seems that the battery is not getting charged and the tank pumps and transfer pump are not running correctly because the voltage is dropping. The voltage when this condition starts is less than 10 at the battery. I have changed the voltage regulator 2x,the alternator 1x , the wiring between the alternator and voltage regulator and the problem still exists. I have to frequently charge the battery to get it to start. Maybe the low voltage is effecting the igniton module? Sorry, somewhat of a rookie at this. Any ideas on things to check with regard to this problem.
