Cen IL | Was going thru the field one day and the return started ratching on a 7700. everthing looked ok down low and looked fine up top until I noticed that the upper tailings return shaft was turning but the flighting was not ! Drove back to the shop and pulled out the shaft and flighting. The flighting was over 4' long and only had 1 one inch long weld holding it to the shaft ! I rewelded it back on with 7 one inch long welds and went back to work. Somebody must have heard the dinner whistle blow at the factory and forgot to finish the job when he got back. jeff | |
