Red dot setup would be much cleaner and more professional but window unit would be cheaper.

There are hydraulic systems as well. The older FMC pea strippers uses hydraulic driver compressors mounted under the cab (New Holland TR type cab) then had the condenser mounted off to the side with the cooling fans on it. I guess they didn't want to run the hoses 40' to the motor or something. They were really annoying to use, vibrated terribly but with the humidity around here. And the bugs in pea fields I didn't mind. This was on early 90s models.
